Let us present our team of Mountain Guides. Together we have more than a 100 years experience of activities in the mountains, experience and knowledge we love to share!

Andreas Bengtsson
Born in Sweden 1974. He had his first skiing experience some 5 years later. Andreas is the founder of Mountain Guide Travel as well as a Mountain Guide, Climbing Instructor and product developer with a patent to his list of merits. Loves skiing and climbing and has spent a lot of time exploring differens ski resorts in the alpes and ski toring in the wilderness of the scandinavian mountains.

 

 
Pelle Bagewitz
Pelle lives in Chamonix and works as a mountain guide all over the alpes.
Dedicated skier and climber who has spent endless of hours skiing and climbing, mainly around Chamonix. During the season between climbing and skiing he is likely to be found on a surf board in Portugal or maybe in Bali.

 

 
 
 
Pelle Lång
Founder of the legendary Skiers Lodge in La Grave. Wherever Pelle Lang has put his skiboots down has been his home. Left Sweden some 24 years ago searching for good adventure skiing in the mountain ranges of the world. The search is over. Being the owner and founder of Skier Lodge made him settle down in La Grave 1989. He now employs and works with the international certified IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guides under the concept of Skiers Lodge Guideservice. 24 years experience of off-piste skiing in Chamonix and La Grave, France, Alaska-Valdez, Canada, USA, Russia, Italy, India and North part of Sweden/Norway. He is an fully qualified IFMGA/SBO mountain guide with the French Brevet d´ Etat d´Alpinisme, Diplome de Guide de Haute Montagne UIAGM. Pisteur-SLAO. Heliski guide. Pro Am mogul racer. Nordic ski extreme racer.
Winner of the Derby de la Meije ind/team.

 
Mikael Amlert
Mikael's passion for the Swedish mountains brought him to Kiruna in the early 90's. During the following years he was employed by the Swedish army in teaching how to survive in the harsh conditions of the mountain. He has now changed his uniform to hi-tech garments and fat skis. He's been guiding full time since 1998. He's very present and nothing happens by chance when he's working. He's also an active part of the Swedish Mountain Rescue Team.
 

Martin W Svensson
He started to ski in the ice climbing Mecca Rjukan in Norway 1976. Given that it's no wonder that he developed into one of Swedens topp extreme skier.
He have competed in the Nordic Championship in extreme skiing, climbed 5.13 and done big walls in the state. No need to say that he's pretty allround and good at what he's doing.

 

 
Peter "Calle-P" Engström
Based in Kiruna and Abisko Calle-P have spent the last decade climbing and skiing in Sweden.
He also has a significant number of big walls under his belt, e.g. Mescalito on El Cap in Yosemite.

Since he now is dropping out of his career as a laywer to guide full time we are more than happy to have him on board.


 

Magnus Strand
Magnus has a long experience in the mountains.

Among other peaks he climed Korsonevskja (7102m) in 1993 and Ama Dablam. Before that, he'd climbed much in the Alps and the U.S.

He now spend most of his time in either the Alps or in northern Scandinavia.

Magnus is a fully authorized UIAGM/IFMGA mountainguide. He is now doing full-time in the mountains.

Magnus wants to share his passion for the mountains with you. Ski touring, alpine climbing and longer expeditions is perhaps his favorite, but we know he loves to find the powder and enjoy a good dinner too! Magnus is a partner in Mountain Guide Travel
