Honshu powder trip, Japan

Japan has been on every skier's lips for several years as the major destination for powder skiing. And the rumours are true. But there is more skiing in Japan than Niseko on Hokkaido.

Honshu is the main island of Japan (the big island where Tokyo and other major cities are located). We have had the privilege to explore many parts of this wonderful island in search of powder skiing. On Honshu there are both smaller ski resorts and some quite large.

Watching the development on the northern island Hokkaido with growing lift lines and more competition we have chosen not to present a program and reveal exactly what places we go to on Honshu. You simply just have to trust us and the fact that we have the same goal as you, we want to ski good powder snow and experience the authentic Japanese culture. See pictures to the right and you'll understand.

Our trips to Honshu are given primarily to groups who book together. A suitable group is 3-6 guests + mountain guide. If you are more than 6 people, we will be two mountain guides who work together.

The program is tailor made, but a normal trip looks like this.
Day 1
Departure from Europe (or wherever you are travelling from)

Day 2

Arrival day and meet in Tokyo for further transport by shinkansen (bullet train) or minibus to the hotel/ski resort.

Day 3–9

7 days of powder skiing in several different resorts, bath in the Onsen (hot springs), Japanese culture and good food.

Day 10
Return trip home.
