Powder Skiing in Gulmarg - Himalayas, Kashmir, India

Due to the political situation,  we dont do any trips here right now.

Gulmarg is a unique ski resort in Kashmir, India. There is a lift that goes to 4000 meters above sea level and no groomers. The village itself is situated among rolling meadows high on a plateau at approximately 2700 meters. Thanks to its geographical position Gulmarg gets some of the heaviest snowfalls in the area and is considered the best ski resort in the Himalayas.
Those who come here must be prepared that it's totaly different from anything you have ever experienced in terms of ski resorts. To have ski touring equipment is a must because we can not rely on the ski lift to run every day. The big gondola to the top is exposed to weather and when the wind blows hard it is closed.
The season runs from mid-December to mid-May, but the best time for the really deep powder is in February and early March.

The incredible skiing and India's unique culture is what makes the trip a memory for life.

You should have experience of off-piste skiing and be an advanced skier. You should have the equipment for ski touring and be familiar with your equipment.
