Welcome to Heli Ski Riksgränsen. We are situated 300 km north of the Arctic Circle in Lapland, Sweden - the land of the midnight sun. 

From the ski resort Riksgränsen we offer Heli skiing in the true wilderness of Swedish Lapland. We have a total heli ski area of 5 000 square km, with more than a hundred peaks.

Heli skiing in Sweden
Using the Helicopter as your private lift and a certified mountain guide to find the best snow, we offer a premium ski experience.
The mountains in the area close to Riksgränsen provides 700-1000 m vertical and, if you fly in to the more remote areas of Mårma and Kebnekaise, you get up to 1500 m vertical.

Heli ski area
Our heli ski area extends about 300 km from east to west and some 200 km from north to south. That makes about 60 000 square km. This area has more than a hundred peaks, all covered in snow, just waiting for you. This is the largest wilderness area in Europe and the environment for a unique experience.

Season 2011
Heli ski Riksgränsen is running every day from friday the 11th of March to sunday the 29th of May.

Previous experience
The terrain ranges from easy to challenging. Close to Riksgränsen we have skiing suitable for red and black run skiers. If you want to join us for the more remote areas like Kåtotjocka/ Mårma or Kebnekaise, you need to have prior off piste skiing experience.

Security
We have the highest level of security in terms of skiing and helicopter transport. All skiers in the group will be provided with an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. All our guides are certified UIAGM/ IFMGA mountain guides.

Mountain Guides
Andreas Bengtsson, the lead guide responsible for the heli skiing, is founder of Mountain Guide Travel and certified UIAGM/ IFMGA mountain guide.

Personal equipment
Besides normal skiing equipment, it is recommended to bring a hat and ski goggles. There can be a lot of snow flying up from the helicopter wash.
